I studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University, majoring in automotive engineering, and have been working for FEV Consulting for 2.5 years. During my master's degree it was already clear to me that I would like to work in a consulting firm, as I really appreciate the strategic topics and the changing issues. My daily tasks consist mainly of project work as i.e. the implementation of projects. In doing so, I have not specialized in a certain subject area and I am rather a generalist in my approach. Of course, due to our focus at FEV Consulting, we mainly work in the areas of mobility and "Highly-Engineered Products". However, I find it very exciting that within these topics I am given the opportunity to gain experience in various industries. Compared to other consultancies, we are not on site at the customer's location from Monday to Thursday, which I find very pleasant. So I can also spend time at home or do sports during the week. Nevertheless, we are given the opportunity to be on site at the customer's location due to project closings, meetings and workshops. As many of our customers are located in the USA, Asia and other European countries, you also get to know new cultures. Besides the mobility issues, the team is still the USP of FEV Consulting for me.
