FEV Conference "Advanced Fuels for Sustainable Mobility" to take place on November 9 and 10 in Aachen

Exchange on future-oriented developments in sustainable engine technologies and fuels

On November 9 and 10, FEV is holding the second "Advanced Fuels for Sustainable Mobility” conference in Aachen. This conference is geared toward experts and decision-makers in drivetrain and fuel development, as well as research. The conference is dedicated to the general themes of global and national fuel scenarios, requirements and means of implementing CO2 reduction, technologies for sustainable mobility, and market and customer behavior. These include alternative, synthetic, gaseous, and biofuels, as well as hydrogen and dual or flex-fuel applications.

"Combustion engines and fuels have to be considered as two sides of the same coin that are mutually dependent and interdependent. Synergistic combination of sustainable fuels and modern engine technology offers a great potential to reduce CO2 emissions and increase efficiency,” explains Dr. Philipp Adomeit, Head of Thermodynamics at FEV. "Our second ‘Advanced Fuels for Sustainable Mobility’ conference provides a platform for exchange between experts and takes into account the current state of technology, new technologies from both worlds, as well as external influencing factors as drivers or barriers."
