The FEV Group, a leading global development services provider invites experts and decision makers, for the second time, to a multi-disciplinary exchange on "Diesel Powertrains 3.0." This year's event will take place June 14 and 15 in Leipzig, Germany. In collaboration with leading automotive manufacturers – including Audi, Daimler, Jaguar Land Rover, and PSA – and suppliers such as Denso, Continental, Valeo, and BorgWarner, the experts will illuminate current and future requirements and developments related to modern Diesel engine technologies.

Top speakers from OEMs, as well as from the development and supplier industry, will present and analyze current results and approaches. In addition to classical optimization and new technologies for the base engine, particular attention will obviously be paid to the megatrend "CO2 reduction and air quality," including supporting electrification approaches.

"Increasingly strict emission thresholds, modified test conditions – for example, the upcoming Real Driving Emissions – but also a greatly changed public perception of the diesel engine provides developers with increasingly larger challenges," explains conference head Thomas Körfer, Group Vice President for Diesel Engines at FEV. "In our two-day conference, we will discuss conceptual solutions and technical innovations to meet these requirements, because the Diesel engine continues to offer many positive aspects that need to be used advantageously in the future."

During an excursion to the FEV durability test center (Dauerlaufprüfzentrum – DLP) in neighboring Brehna, participants will have the opportunity to visit one of the most modern test centers in the world. On a total of 41 high voltage-compatible engine and complete powertrain test benches, the test articles are operated in continuous 24/7 test cycles in accordance with a proprietary FEV test catalog or client specific test programs. The intelligent networking and monitoring of the relevant operational and test field data via a central control room makes the DLP unique and makes possible highly efficient management of test processes.

Seating will be limited. Interested parties can find more information on registration and availability at www.fev.com/conferences.
